The Great Flood Anniversary

Do you remember what you were doing one year ago? We do. The Salvation Army was responding to the most devastating flood the state has seen in more than a decade. For almost 4 weeks, The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services were called into action.
Helping us recall those events is our Disaster Service Director, Jerry Larsen. In this episode, Jerry shares some of the stories of our biggest disaster response since we sent teams to Katrina. He also talks about our new EDS headquarters which allows us to respond better and quicker should disaster strike again.
