WIBC Radiothon

It’s hard to believe, but 2016 marks the 22nd year of the WIBC Radiothon for The Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club. We’re teaming up with Emmis Communications and 93.1 WIBC for a two-day, on-air fundraising campaign benefiting local programs and services for those in need. Tune in December 2 & 3 to listen live and donate!

• $10,000+ • $1,000+
• $5,000 + • $500+

Choose an hour to challenge others to make donations to The Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club. Come to the broadcast, present your check, and let the listeners know how your company is doing the most good. Hourly sponsors receive live mentions on the air and a 90-second to two minute interview (may be live or pre-recorded depending on the show), plus social media promotion and a feature on wibc.com/radiothon.

Provide a prize:

Prizes are not only an incentive to listeners but a thank you to those that donate. The bigger the prize, the more people call in to make a pledge or donate a one-time gift! Listeners love challenges, too! Prize value must be $100 or more. Prizes have unlimited mentions and are promoted through social media and wibc.com/radiothon.

Share in the Success:

Becoming a corporate partner of the WIBC Radiothon for The Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club promotes your corporate values and make a positive impression with existing and potential customers. All donations stay here in Indiana and go exclusively to The Salvation Army. Donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Join Us:

Radiothon kicks off December 2, 2016, at 6am with Tony Katz and the Morning News. For the next 36 hours, WIBC listeners are encouraged to support those in their community who are in the most need by donating through The Salvation Army. During regularly scheduled programming, on-air personalities share interviews from Salvation Army heroes, feature corporate partners making a difference in Indianapolis, and update listeners on the number of meals and nights of shelter The Salvation Army is able to provide because of their generosity. Salvation Army volunteers work the phones around the clock until 6pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016, accepting pledges and personally thanking each donor.

Invest in Your Community:

Funds raised through Radiothon play a vital role in supporting programs that offer food, shelter, and a fresh start for our neighbors in need. Last year, The Salvation Army provided 113,830 nights of shelter and 468,000 meals in central Indiana. This would not have been possible without the generosity of people like you.
