The Indiana Pacers announced their preseason schedule today along with some exciting news for The Salvation Army. On October 8, The Indiana Pacers will play their preseason opener in their original ABA home, the Pepsi Coliseum. As part of this special event and the Pacers commitment to the community, all proceeds for the game will benefit 3 local charities including The Salvation Army.

“We’re excited to return to our roots an the place where the strong tradition of Pacers Pride began,” said Jim Morris, Pacers Sports & Entertainment’s President. The Pepsi Coliseum was the home of the Pacers from 1967 until 1974 during which time the Pacers won three ABA championships.

Tickets for the game go on sale on September 8 at the Conseco Fieldhouse box office, the Pepsi Coliseum box office, and all Ticketmaster locations.
