The Dodson Family generously donated a truck full of toys to The Salvation Army's Kids Toy Shop during Radiothon.

In support of the The Salvation Army’s Kids Toy Shop, Donnie Dodson and wife Lynn pulled up to Emmis Communications building during Radiothon, WIBC’s fundraiser for The Salvation Army’s Christmas campaign, with a load of newly purchased Kmart toys in their Dodge pickup truck.

The truckload of toys overflowed five large boxes. The Dodson’s whole family pitched in to buy the gifts. “We know how hard it is,” Dodson said about the reason for donating today.

The Dodson’s children are teenagers now, but that didn’t stop their love for buying presents for young kids. They donated gifts ranging from remote control cars to coupons for family portrait packages. The Dodson’s generosity will appreciated by many recipients of Kids Toy Shop.

The Salvation Army will be at Emmis Communications all weekend for Radiothon with red kettles and Kids Toy Shop boxes stationed outside. To donate to Radiothon call 1-877-71-PEACE or donate online at wibcradiothon.org.
