National Commander Visits Indy

Commissioner Israel Gaither, National Commander of The Salvation Army in the United States, visited Indianapolis on Friday, May 16. The Commissioner spoke at Indianapolis Downtown Kiwanis Luncheon and also delivered the commencement address at Taylor University the following day.

Scam Targets Salvation Army

What appears to be a legitimate flyer from a company called United Resource Marketing, Inc., is actually a hidden pyramid scheme aimed at stealing money from well-intentioned donors. The seemingly legitimate flyer instructs people how to become independent fundraisers for The Salvation Army.
