Right now, thousands of Salvation Army officers and Salvationists from 126 nations are gathered in London, England to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of The Salvation Army. This celebration, dubbed “Boundless,” runs from July 1 through July 5 and will highlight the cultural diversity, innovative programs and variety of services that makes up The Salvation Army today.
As delegates from Indiana and across the globe celebrate and worship together, they do so with the gathering’s theme at the forefront of their minds – BOUNDLESS: The Whole World Redeeming. These words are pulled from The Founder’s Song, which was penned by William Booth.
O boundless salvation, deep ocean of love;
O fullness of mercy, Christ brought from above.
The whole world redeeming, so rich and so free;
Now flowing for all men, come roll over me!
