2013 Red Kettle Campaign
Indianapolis — The Salvation Army kicked off its Red Kettle Christmas Campaign with a public ceremony on November 13 at The Salvation Army’s Headquarters located at 3100 N. Meridian St. The goal for this year’s campaign is $3.2 million. The money raised will go toward supporting Salvation Army programs and services throughout central Indiana.
Starting this month The Salvation Army Red Kettle, one of the most recognizable symbols of Christmas, will be at more than 140 locations throughout central Indiana. You can help The Salvation Army by making your donation at one of these locations or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
You can also help by volunteering to ring a bell at a kettle location near you. Just go to RegisterToRing.com and sign up to ring a bell at a time and location that’s convenient for you. To find out about other seasonal volunteer opportunities, visit our Volunteer page.
Last year, through the generosity of Hoosiers, The Salvation Army was able to provide more than 106,000 safe nights of shelter and 522,000 meals for those in need in our community. With your help, we will again be able to serve our neighbors in need in 2014.
